Having worked as Head Curator of exhibitions at many prestigious art galleries around the country, Reynolds is no stranger to fine art. Reynolds now works as a freelance curator for Filthy Gorgeous Media, allowing him to pursue his own personal love of erotic photography.
What is it about an attractive or intriguing woman that turns an ordinary man into a creative whirlwind? Beautiful women served as a muse for Bob Guccione both as an artist and as a photographer. The women that are featured on Filthy Gorgeous have served as muses for photographers from the past, and they continue to evoke inspiration for future generations. All of the women that are given the title Filthy Muse are timeless.
Bonnie Dee Wilson is a Filthy Gorgeous Muse.
Measuring in at 37-23-26, Bonnie Dee Wilson had the perfect figure for Penthouse. Not only did she grace a few covers of Penthouse magazine, she was bestowed the honor of being a Penthouse Pet, as well as offered a part as an extra in the infamous film, Caligula. Due to her southern charm, which she acquired growing up in San Antonio, Texas, she was an absolute delight to work with. That led her to make her Penthouse debut in the 1975 November issue. She went on to grace the pages of the magazine twice between 1975 and 1977, once as Pet of the Month, and then as Pet of the Year runner up. While it is not known if Wilson ever married or not, it is rumored that she and Guccione had some relations with one another. She is quoted as saying, “It’s my nature to give more love, more excitement, more attention than I get in return.” She went on to say that she likes older men because they don’t get jealous and they understand her. Not to mention, she also preferred darker types like Italians, Greeks, and Syrians.
In 1967, when Wilson was 20 years old, she gave birth to a baby girl, becoming a single mother. However, motherhood didn’t stop Wilson. She continued to thrive and at the age of 28, Wilson landed the cover of Penthouse magazine as the Pet of the Month in the November 1975 issue. The issue also featured a nude pictorial, proving that one can look sexy after becoming a mother. Featuring only a long pearl necklace and turquoise jewelry in her debut cover photo, Wilson made her mark as one of the sexiest MILFs ever to be immortalized on the pages of Penthouse. This pictorial was completed by Bob Guccione himself, as he really took an interest in Wilson, which leads many fans to believe they had a relationship.
Guccione’s interest in Wilson led her to be cast in Caligula in 1977. Although Wilson’s part was uncredited, she can be recognized as an imperial brothel worker in the infamous orgy scene. Apparently, while shooting the scene, she was apprehensive, but with other Penthouse Pets such as Jane Hargrave, Susanne Saxon, and Anneka DiLorenzo, there encouraging her, she eventually warmed up and got comfortable in the opening sequences of the Imperial Bordello scene. Proving that 1977 was a good year for her, she went on to be featured in the October issue of Penthouse magazine as a Pet of the Year runner up. She was again photographed by Bob Guccione at “The California Club” in Miami, and her pictorial still resonates well with fans.
Although not much is known of Bonnie Dee Wilson and her endeavors after the premiere of Caligula in February of 1980, she is a constant face in the Filthy Gorgeous Auctions.
