Having worked as Head Curator of exhibitions at many prestigious art galleries around the country, Reynolds is no stranger to fine art. Reynolds now works as a freelance curator for Filthy Gorgeous Media, allowing him to pursue his own personal love of erotic photography.
At Filthy Gorgeous Media, we celebrate a woman’s right to use her body any way she wants to, which is why we are advocates for porn stars and any woman willing to take her clothes off on camera. Many people stereotype these people as trashy, emotionally “broken”, or women who choose to bare it all for the camera because they had to. In order to break down the stereotypes of these women, the FGM staff has collected some evidence that disproves these theories and enforces a more positive view. Stripped is all about stripping away a perceived perception of a woman in order to reveal who she really is.
Emilia Clarke is an English actress, most famous for her role, and her nude scenes, as Daenerys Targaryen in the HBO series Game of Thrones, for which she received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series in 2013. In 2010, Clarke was cast as Daenerys Targaryen, which is based on the book series by George R. R. Martin. She was cast after fellow British actress Tamzin Merchant was replaced for undisclosed reasons. According to sources, she did the funky chicken and robot dance during her audition. The show debuted in April 2011 to positive reviews and was quickly picked up by the network for a second season. To date she has appeared in all four broadcast seasons, and has reprised the role once more in Season 5.
Famous Nude Scenes: Game of Throne’s Emilia Clarke
In the show’s first series Clarke was notoriously filmed naked in many of her key scenes although by series four she had resorted to wearing clothes – perhaps more befitting her regal position. Game Of Thrones has never stinted on sex scenes, as Clarke acknowledged, “We’ve been able to take it to a very real level. It was never pretending to be a show for kids! It’s gritty in a good, realistic way. There are other women who remove items of clothing on Game Of Thrones, so they’ve got my nipple count down now.” While Clarke has signed a new contract that will prevent her from any more nude scenes, many fans are just happy she is still on the show.
Stepping away from her role as Daenerys however, Clarke will step into the role of Sarah Conner for the new Terminator: Genisys. Bringing on Clarke is a smart move for director Alan Taylor because her popularity is at an all time high as Game of Thrones continues its highly successful run. Before Clarke, though, Lena Headey was the last female to take up the role of the kick ass Sarah Connor. It’s common knowledge that Lena Headey is Emilia Clarke’s Game of Thrones co-star as Cersei Lannister. Her role as the star of The Sarah Connor Chronicles, however, is less appreciated. Unfortunately cancelled after a year on air, Headey was still praised for her portrayal of the Connor character. Variety praised Headey’s performance, pointing out that her character was smart, resourceful and tough, while still remaining sympathetic and vulnerable. She was nominated twice for the Saturn Award for Best Actress on Television for the role. It would be interesting to know if Headey has been a mentor to Clarke as she’s taken up the celebrated role of Sarah Connor.
